There are rumors of a huge party on the Govermental Plaza on January 31. The day most thought would never come is finally approaching. I suppose the majority of county workers will be so overcome with excitement little will be accomplished on that special day. Oh wait that wouldn't be any different than an average day fighting to keep their jobs or providing damage control for the latest in a string of changes or blunders brought about by their current administrators. May February be only the beginning of the long overdue turn in a different direction and may our new Board of Commissioners have the wisdom to choose a suitable replacement that will in turn make many other much needed changes to our broken organization.
