"She said she was told that the school did not get funding because it had primarily black students and had low test scores." Please, who told her that and why did she believe it? The truth is that with constant cutting of maintenance funds by the County, there is not enough to go around. And Smith is not the only problem, the problems are at all high schools. The difference is the amount of money provided by the booster clubs at other schools.
