Grass mower for the 1%

Thanks, Steve for reminding me that everything is Bush's fault. Without cable and rabbit ears TV I'd forgotten.

I'll try Stabil, if our nanny state doesn't back off. I don't have $300 to replace my reliable weedwhacker.

John and Ron, we knew about this in the '90s. Gasohol is contaminated at the gas station when water condenses in those cool underground tanks. Gasoline and alcohol should mix well, but the water/alcohol combination clings together tenaciously, and is why gasohol separates. I don't want Stabil, I want clean gas.

Call the water/ethanol mix vodka. Or the new watered down Everclear this mess created. It washes oil off of cylinder walls, and bye-bye warranty. It's also corrosive.

Why do you suppose engines are made with steel parts? It's because they run on fuel and oil, not water! Aluminum doesn't beat the rust problem either, because when you scrape it after removing the oil, the scrapings skin over instantly with oxide. That's low grade sandpaper grit, and it eats mighty tempered steel saw blades quickly.

Ethanol is poison to the light engines we carry, and eats fuel system components in the big ones that carry us. It is the road paved with good liberal intentions. Except that they've known where that road leads for many years, so there are no excuses.

If you want to save these fine machines along with the rest of the country, you'll have to disregard how much your vote may be bought by picking my pocket even before I get my paycheck. Get rid of those Democrats reforming society at the gas pump.
