Gay marriage isn't about "special rights" its about EQUAL rights. Two people love each other...they get a CIVIL marriage license which provides benefits to them.

And what benefits do heterosexual couples provide to society? And if your answer is simply producing offspring then shouldn't we DEMAND that all couples have children? And should barren women not be able to marry? And certainly post menopausal women shouldn't be able to marry. The list goes on and on.
