Actually, that is part of the problem with people who over-generalize, whom specifically you and Orson Scott Card seem to be members of (and probably me at certain points, but not right now).

Orson Scott Card is using these words to negate the ideas of anybody who has bad thoughts about these people.
I can go to any political website for the Right or the Left and see ad hominem attacks on people. Trust me, it is not an exclusive property at all. What are you actually saying?
