Some rational thought
May 04, 2012 | 11:36 AM Homosexuality and bisexuality are proven phenomena in many animal species. It is not right to tell someone that the way they feel and act is wrong if it is natural to them and hurts no one else. Children will not suddenly be attracted to others of their gender simply because they find out about it. And what if a child is homosexual and learns that it is okay? GOOD. That is one less person being forced to live a lie for the benefit of their ignorant parents. Just because something makes you uncomfortable doesn't mean you have the right to tell other people what to do. For instance, I happen to think that organised religion is foolish and unnecessary. That doesn't mean I run up to every person I see wearing a cross and tell them that they are dumb. It's their choice. Maybe they like to be told how to find their spirituality. Their decision affects me in no way what so ever. Taylor R |
