One of the first casual dining restaurants in the country, for four decades Darryl's has been known for its eclectic decor, friendly atmosphere and great food. 
 At its peak, Darryl's had 39 restaurants in nine states, but in time it dwindled to one on the verge of closing. 
That's when a Greensboro restaurateur decided to bring Darryl's back to its original glory, with a $2 million renovation and the return of original recipes. He also added an outdoor patio with two fire pits, and an outdoor bar with TVs, along with a state of the art heating system. With 26 craft draft beers on tap, 24 wines by the glass and a 10-page menu – there's something for everyone!
