Why?

Whether or not the science and data proves definitively that the world is getting warmer and the Earth as we know it is changing, what's so bad about teaching children about energy preservation and being environmentally responsible? Why are you waging such a crusade against common sense? In an ideal world shouldn't we all drive electric cars instead of gas and use solar power when we can because it just creates cleaner air and less dependency on limited resources? I just don't understand what gets you so riled up about all this Scott?
