It took 8 years to ruin the economy? It didn't start to be a disaster until after the 2006 election. And then there is the matter than the NORMAL pattern is that the deeper the recession, the stronger the recovery. This one has been pathetic.
Obama, with total control of congress for two years, got more of his stuff through than the vast majority of presidents! Oh, and it hasn't been two years yet since the GOP got control of one half of congress.
Further, the tea party isn't even close control of the GOP, let alone congress! They do scare the establishment though, which is good. Also explains why they get lied about so much.
I particularly like this statement you made: "the party and policies he represents on the other hand are nuts and the same people behind the policies that put us here still control the republican party."
Pretty amazing considering that the tea party has only existed for a few years and were certainly not in control before. They aren't even in control now! They are getting rid of some incumbents who did help cause the problems though.
