| October 09, 2012 High Point Central will play its home basketball games this year at High Point University according to an email from Guilford County Schools Chief of Staff Nora Carr sent Monday, Oct. 8.
Carr wrote, "High Point Central Principal Bob Christina is serving as the district point person for this effort; we will coordinate any publicity/public announcements regarding this with High Point University, per the university's request."
Both boys and girls home games will be played at High Point University since the renovation of the High Point Central gymnasium is one of the school construction projects that is way behind schedule.
