I love your novels. "Saints" really made me much more sympathetic toward LDS. However, you are just wrong about this. There are always a few wing nuts in any group, but aside from those, no one in the gay community wants to force churches to accept us. There are plenty of churches that already do, and we'd rather be where we are wanted and respected. We just want the same social and legal rights and responsibilities as heterosexual couples. I know your views on this may be influenced by your religion, but I invite you to read some of the essays on JohnShore.com to see an alternative, loving Christian perspective on gay people, written by a heterosexual man. Thank you.
