Absurd WiFi for High Point

This is absurd, if not an outrage. Are folks not aware that there are already no less than SEVEN FREE wifi services in High Point's downtown??? And, they operate both in and out of the downtown buildings?
I guess it shouldn't be surprising that the High Point City Council is so out of touch with their own city and community that they are oblivious to the fact that WiFi is already available downtown and has been for several years. I know - I use it several times each week.
Next thing you know they'll want to pave Main Street. It's been gravel and dirt long enough.
As far as the benches are concerned, I wouldn't advertise them too much. Next thing you know people will be coming in from all over the state (maybe even from outside the state) to sit on those benches!
Seriously, the High Point City Council is a joke. A bad joke, but a joke nonetheless.
