Re "There are no laws left standing that discriminate against gay couples." you are so wrong. Try sponsoring a same-sex partner for a green card; or giving them health insurance if you are employed by the federal govt; or getting them social sec survivor benefits when you die.
While I don't necessarily agree with the stress you place on marriage - in terms of leading to a stable society - in your books (particularly in Ender books) given that you feel that way, why do you limit it only to opposite gender marriages?
You are wrong on this issue. While in general I enjoy your books, I have been uncomfortable with the way your religion slants your opinions. I hope you come to realize just how wrong you are on this issue.
